Survey on Results of the Hearing Loss Test Pattern and the Pure Tone Tests

|
94 cases of hearing loss patients who had been taken hearing test at Dept. of Otolyngology, General Hospital were evaluated and reported the result about age, sex and accompanymg symptoms. Following results were obtained: 1. Male patients were little more than female patients and its ratio was 41 :54. 2. Age distribution showed predilection for 4th decade with 33 %, but 2nd decade have only 5%. 3. Otorrhea and tinnitus were observed in 49% cases of patients. 4. Bone conduction level(BCL) of adult cases who have chronic purulent otitis media were as follows : 43% cases with 11-20dB, 29% cases with 21-30dB, 7% cases with 31-40dB, 12 % cases with ≥50dB. There was little difference in ear bone states normal : 15.79±11.52dB, abnormal : 27.14 ± 14.77dB, but no in sex.
